A Carnivore Eating Only BBB&E: No Cravings, No Compromises, and Trusting God

Beef, Butter, Bacon and Eggs (BBB&E)

I don’t know where you are on your journey to better health—maybe you’re strong with your current lifestyle, or wanting to make a change in your health. Making a decision to improve your health is the first step. They are many diets and promises out there, but the question you have is which one is best for me? Well, I can’t answer that, but I can tell you my experiences eating strict carnivore… Beef, Butter, Bacon & Eggs. (bbb&e)

As for me, at this time of writing I’ve been eating bbb&e for 13 months. I’m still fully committed to strict BBB&E with salt—eating until I’m completely full and not eating again until I’m truly hungry. No cravings, no cheats. In fact, I haven’t had a single craving for sugar in months, and every week, this way of eating gets easier.

Is this the most social-friendly way to eat? Not at all. But I’ve learned to stop worrying about what others think—I’m doing this for me, and more importantly, I’m trusting God in the process. He designed our bodies with incredible wisdom, and I believe He also provides the clarity and strength to make the right choices for our health.

When we surrender our struggles to Him, whether it’s food, health, or the opinions of others, we gain peace. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” That includes making choices that honor the body He gave me.

I been known to talk about this way of eating a lot, but when I see the changes in both my health and my wife Sonja’s, it’s hard not to be excited. This works, and I believe God is blessing this journey!
